    Who’s World of Thai Silk's managing director and webmaster?
     Richard, is the first American to be awarded permanent residence in Chaiyaphum province in northeastern Thailand. His is a strategic communications consultant and world-class webmaster who was formely Southeast Asia correspondent for United Press International and a staff editor and special services consultant for the United Nations for many years. He speaks fluent Thai and has been involved in improving the situation of rural Thai women for much of the more than three decades he has been living in Thailand and Southeast Asia. He is one of the few men involved in World of Thai Silk. His key function is to serve as a communication bridge between the skilled artisans of Thailand and our customers in the rest of the world.
